LYS Qualifications of Family Members on the Family Membership Application:
Two adults living in that same household that are spouses/significant-others to each other. Household children are biological children, foster children, step children, adopted children, who are full-time students (or younger) who are an IRS dependent to one (or both) of the adults that live any part of the year with the said adult(s.) Foreign exchange students will be considered part of a family and must provide a copy of their passport with the Family Membership Application.
Family Members DO NOT include: Ex-spouses, Ex-Significant-Others, Grandparents, Nannies, Babysitters, Adult Siblings. Cousins, whether living in the same home as the "Family" or not. These not-included individuals may have a Member purchase a Guest Pass for them to enter with a Member or they may pay the entry fee or they can apply for an Individual Membership if they wish to enter the Swimming Pool Gate. If they were listed as members in the previous year, they do qualify for all applicable discounts.
Grandparents Membership has been discontinued due to the new Full-Time Student Full Membership.
Full-Time Student (or younger) Full Membership see front calendar page for pricing. This if for one person applying for membership so one Membership Application form per applicant. Guardian must sign Membership Application for applicants not at the age of majority. This membership grants access to all LYS services. Does NOT qualify for New Member Pool Parties or Referral Pool Parties. Only Full-Time Student Members of legal contractual signing age (19) can request Pool Parties. Non-Member Parents/Guardians or guests must pay the daily entry fee to ENTER THE GATE. Age of student must be disclosed on the Membership Application.
Institutional Day Care Membership - No Longer Available. Full-Time Student is an excellent replacement option. Day Care Provider must be a member or be a guest of the Full-Time Student (or younger) member AND use a Guest Pass or pay entry fee.
In-Home Day Care Membership - No Longer Available. Full-Time Student is an excellent replacement option. Day Care Provider must be a member or be a guest of the Full-Time Student (or younger) member AND use a Guest Pass or pay the entry fee.
Hunting Only Full-Time Student (or younger) Membership see front calendar page for pricing. WARNING: This membership opportunity is only good for Hunting. This membership does NOT include pool privileges or any Membership discounts.
DISCOUNT DEDUCTIONS:
RENEWAL DISCOUNT: Family, Individual or Full-Time Student Memberships can Deduct $25 if you were a member the previous year.
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: Family, Individual or Full-Time Student Memberships can only Deduct $25 if we receive your payment before May 10 OR your envelope you mailed your application and check are postmarked by the Post Office before May 10. The date of your check does NOT qualify. The day you intended to mail it does NOT qualify.
ALL OF THE ABOVE MEMBERSHIPS PROVIDE PRIVILEGES TO THE LYS POOL, LYS HUNTING OR LYS ROCKIN' RIDERS. Limitations and fees may apply. See rules for each function. All memberships are good for the remainder of the calendar year.
We reserve the right to refuse membership to anyone. If your application is not approved, your money shall be refunded.
